I got an appointment quickly for a painful eye inflammation. My thorough exam and evaluation by Dr Harris diagnosed the problem and a prescription was called in. 48 hours later Dr McCullough examined my eye and said the condition was 90% cured. I'll continue the steroid drops to assure my complete recovery.

Dr. McCullough was amazing with my almost nine year old daughter. He explained each step of the exam before he continued and was so gentle with her. He, then, showed her the pictures of her eyes and explained plainly what each part was, what he was looking for, and what is should or should not look like. Such a wonderful experience!

Dr. McCullough and the staff provided state of the art, comprehensive care. I made the switch from a large practice after Dr. McCullough met me at the office to see my son for an emergent eye injury. Your eye exam was fine, very thorough and staff is polite and helpful. I am disappointed that my bifocals did not allow me to read. The location of the bifocal lens is not right. Dr. Harris is one of the best eye physicians I have ever been to in my 40+ years of seeing eye doctors. She takes the to to explain everything and is the first eye doctor ever to show me the chart of the levels of progression for my macular degeneration. Also she is the first ever to prescribe eye vitamins and I believe they are the reason I had no charges in MG this time.

Having been blessed with outstanding eyecare for several years at my previous residence I was a little worried that I wouldn't find similar care in the Festus area but can now say that I have with McCullough Eyecare PC. I saw Dr. Alyssa Harris. I scheduled my appointment online, easily navigating the appointment and new patient pages. I also completed most of my health history online before my actual appointment. I was taken back for appointment right at the time that it was scheduled. All of my questioned were answered promptly. I highly recommend McCullough Eyecare.

This is the first time I had a pleasant experience at an eye doctor from beginning to end. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The doctor actually reviewed the images taken of my eye with me and explained it so I could understand. She reviewed my health history in depth with me that helped her determine what was causing the vision issues I was experiencing. No other doctor was able to concluded what she did, or explain anything to me.

The staff member who helped me find frames (I can't remember her name!) was exceptionally helpful with finding what would work best with my insurance and prescription. She was fantastic!

I was able to get an evening appointment fairly quick. Everyone was courteous and professional. Was also quick to get in for my followup over my lunch hour which I appreciated. Optical department also gave me some great options for some inexpensive back up glasses to my contacts. Great place, would recommend to anyone.

I don't understand why the cost is different charged me $50 on my first visit and wanted to charge me more and i said no i wasn't paying more, and then on this visit i get a $30 credit and pay $20 to make up the difference for $50 dollars And my husband ask about an appointment to get his eye exam and told him $20.00 the billing is messed up. I feel I shouldn't have to pay $50 dollars just to get my eye pressure checked.

I drove down from St. Louis because I was tired of the chain stores and their poor service. The staff at McCullough Eye Care was knowledgeable, patient and professional answering all my questions, even helping me take pictures to send to my wife so I could decide which frames looked best on me. The doctor actually took time to explain everything to me and the visit was painless and convenient. They even helped me choose which option was cheapest. I would highly recommend them.

I was just getting my annual exam, new back in town and my first time at this facility. The wait wasn't long. Everyone was very friendly. Property was clean. I loved what appeared to be hand seen covers on all the machines. Dr. Jarod did not appear rushed. He sat down, explained all the tests and explained my results very thoroughly. Afterwards, my insurance and what was covered was easily explained to me by Chris. If you can enjoy an eye appointment then I did!

This is Loretta's daughter, Brenda. I cannot thank you enough for fitting my mom in and getting her an appointment with the Retina Institute. I am very grateful. We went to the ER by recommendation of the Retina Institute and the ER admitted her for two days doing testing and trying to get her blood pressure under control. She is home and doing well. She could only see the outline of my head at the hospital out of her right eye, but yesterday she said she could see my lips moving. Thankful she can still see from the left eye. Thanks again for moving quickly to see us and help us.
