By far the best!!! I had tried 5 other dentist before finding Salt Run. I cant say enough about the entire staff. I always feel welcome and never any high pressure to have procedures done. The work I have had done is wonderful. I am so happy I found them!!!

I always feel at ease when I come to this dentistry. I came this time with a concern with what I was feeling - hot and cold sensitivity. I so appreciate the thoroughness that Tammy and Dr. Leth did to try to find out if there was any cavity I needed to be aware of. With their knowledge and explanations of the possible cause for the sensitivity I am completely satisfied with the care and outcome. And knowing I can come back any time if things become more uncertain for me. I like being treated as good as family!!

Fantastic facility, staff, and dentist. Care was top notch. Moving down from North Carolina where I was fortunate enough to have a close friend as our family dentist, I was uncertain if I could find a new dentist to live up to my high expectations. Dr. Leth took his time explaining his findings as well as my options, and not once did I feel rushed. It is very difficult to find competent, thorough, conservative care this day in age; however Salt Run Dentistry excels in treating you as if you are family. I highly recommend this practice.

I was absolutely pleased with everything about the office. I really enjoyed seeing all of the art work and positive affirmations hanging (including the restroom). Marley was so sweet and helpful on the phone and again when I was there for my appt. Carol made me feel so comfortable. She was kind and considerate throughout my entire exam. Dr. Leth could not have been more friendly. I appreciate all of your help with decisions about making my teeth look better. (Carol - I bought a sonicare!!!!)

My first experience at Salt Run Dentistry was wonderful! The facility is clean and beautiful. All the staff were warm and welcoming. Lauren was my dental hygienist. She took the time to discuss everything with me - even asking before taking x-rays to make sure it was okay with me. At other practices I have always felt forced to do everything. It was nice to feel like I had a part in making the decisions about my dental care. Dr. Leth was very personable and knowledgeable as well. I highly recommend this practice!

As a 24 yr old person, who is generally fearless (I like to skydive, motocross, eat questionable things, and other generally stupid or non-safe things.) I was terrified of this day. I had not been to a dentist in probably 12 years and knew I had major work to be done. Then it happened. While enjoying some delicious nachos with cheese dip at Cantina Loui, my most obvious and largest cavity finally struck me like a cobra. Part of my tooth chipped off, I swallowed it followed by a comment to my friends that one of my chips was extra crunchy. Then I felt the whole in my face that the tooth left. I ran to the bathroom and looked at the nasty decaying left over chunk that was remaining. All brown like a little turd in my mouth. No one wants to kiss this. I am single, time is passing me by! Anyone left my age is quickly popping out kids or already has them, or is too crazy to be messed with, either way they have their reasons for being single, and now this tooth issue is going to be another item on the list of why I am single. These are the thoughts that I had while looking at the little mouth turd in the bathroom. So I knew there was only one thing to do, face one of my two irrational fears (the other being spiders...) I had to go to the dentist. That same evening, I went motorcycle riding with Matthew Schonder (a patient of yours) and we turned around in your parking lot, he knew of my tooth issue and praised you guys as the best around. So that night, I went to your website and placed a request for an appointment. This was promptly followed by regret and then later followed by a phone call from you guys. I scheduled my death date and then went about my Monday and Tuesday as if I was on death row waiting for the chair on Wednesday. I showed up on time Wednesday morning, made jokes with the desk staff to hide my fear, filled out the papers and waited about 30 seconds to be called back. <<continued at the bottom>>

Everyone in the office is very nice and friendly. I would have changed my appointment had I known there would not be an examination by the dentist as I am having some jaw issues. I have had my teeth cleaned twice a year for 25 plus years and this was the first cleaning that barely lasted 10 minutes, maybe my teeth looked great and didnt need it but I left not feeling like It wasnt a 6 month cleaning check up like usual.

Everyone I came in contact with in this office was extremely friendly! it can be unsettling to go to any new medical office but that was not the case here. We are snowbirds so I was only there for a once quarterly cleaning but I know I'm in good hands if I have an emergency. Chatting with my hygienist Julie and Dr. Leth made me feel right at ease.

I was most impressed with all of the dental professionals who helped me. Dr. Tavery was patient and supplied a thorough explanation of my dental problem. He was not in a rush to get to the next patient and he answered all of my questions. The hygienist, Cathy, was excellent; I would love to have her as my regular hygienist! And the assistant, Melissa, was friendly, gentle, and very meticulous with the xrays. In all, I was very pleased with the care I received. Thanks to all of you.

I got a call to come in. I assumed it was to gety appointment to meet with the doctor , however it turned out it was a cold call for a cleaning. The reason I thought of was to meet with the doctor is I had called and indicated I had a dental problem. A filling came out and they told me I could have an appointment on Spril 29 so when they called and said can you come in yesterday. Once again I assumed it was for the issue Zi called in for for. Not a cleaning . I feel a was misled because I was not told why I was coming in for. The end result no cleaning an d I am still waiting to gety missin filling filled. You wanted to know not a good way to do business.

Staff was very friendly. Dr Tavary was very nice and I appreciated him telling me what he was going to to do before he did it, and what may be the cause of my problem. I was made very comfortable. Also, my father and I very much appreciate the personal letters. I know he is very busy. Everyone is these days, so for him, whose time is more valuable than most, to do that, was very appreciated. I will gladly return when I need a dentist in the future. One thing that wasn't spoken about was pain relief. I rarely take any type of pills, so didn't even think of asking about it, but the day after my office visit, my tooth was very sensitive to the slightest pressure. My brother suggested some Ibuprofen, which he said is also an anti-inflammitory(not sure on that spelling). I did take it and it seemed to help alot, not only with the pain but possibly helping the nerve in my tooth calm down.

Hello Bert, I wanted to drop you a line about my 1st dental visit seeing how you made great strides after my apt to let me know how great it was that I chose your practice to take care of my dental concerns. Where to start...not explained full cost before my visit, would have appreciated a call that am after you saw my xrays to see if I could request a clearer copy of my xrays to save $. Once in chair, I told assistant I had sensitive teeth which fell on def ears. she proceeded to measure bone loss which was extremely pain full until I had enough. On top of that a big annoyance is when your staff is right over you poking around in your mouth and they have non-stop stomach growls, very annoying. Please be aware of that. The lady was nice but I can tell the O/M was trying to fit in another apt and she probably did not get a chance to eat, my apt was at 2:00. You came in finally, gave a good explanation of my issues and gave a referral which was fine and I even bought a Oral B from you. Not a good experience overall. btw st aug family dentistry $59 xam, xray cleaning. Once in chair I was told $90, 90 and $130. Pls take this as constructive criticism, nothing personal. prob wont be back though. David Caddell

Your dental assistant was excellent also with an excellent knowledge of the services you were preforming. I am going to put your info on the Marine Trawlers Owners Assoc. web site. They are 5000 boats traveling the ICW as a member assocoation.
