This practice is a class act. Sent reminders for easy paperwork to be filled out prior to appointment. Saw me quickly and nurse and nurse practitioner were efficient and listened to all my concerns. So glad I switched from my former doctor.

It was Julie's last day and she rushed me through our appointment. I had questions about the 3 Rx's she prescribed. She and her assistant rushed out of the room on to their next appt. and I tried to catch the assistant by calling to her. Either she ignored me or didn't hear me. But when I checked out and tried to direct questions to the checkout girl - she rather brushed me off. I was very P'O'd. I called back to see if someone could interpret the notes that Julie gave me regarding the Rx's I had to order. I must have called a few times. Someone in the Ashburn office said that she was going to have someone from Rockville office call me back immediately as soon as she hung up.I waited 40+ minutes. I then called back to Ashburn and explained the scenario -the person I spoke to said she would connect me to someone she just spoke to. Then I was connected to a voice mail! The more I got rerouted, the angrier I got. I'm talking about wasting about 45 min - 1 hr trying to find out who I was supposed to talk to. I even drove back to Ashburn office from my home in Leesburg and tried to get someone to speak to face-to-face. I guess by that time, I was now marked "persona non grata". I indicated that I was going to inform Sherry Maragh of my dissatisfaction. I left with no resolution. When I got back into my car to leave I received a call from Denise (I believe she is from Rockville office). She was very helpful. I'd have to say, I am not returning to Dr. Maragh's practice. Ive been going there for about 7 years. I liked her and she has a great reputation, but quite frankly, the girls at the desk think they are working in a private club and need to learn some manners.

The whole process was effortless. I inquired about a procedure online and received a call quickly after with an immediate quote. I was able to get schedule the following day. Upon arrival, the administrative staff was very welcoming, kind and polite. As a new patient, the process was quick and easy. I was entered in and taken back within a short amount of time. When I walked back the staff was very friendly. The doctor came in shortly after and took the time the ask and answer questions. I was in and out and it was a great experience.

I came there the first time a few years ago and the first thing they gave me for my seborrheic dermatitis worked and i have had very little flare up since i had been trying different things all life and nothing worked. Great practice for acne concerns. Physician’s are kind and have lots of treatment options available to help meet ones skin needs. The only thing to note is that to my understanding, this appears to be more of a cosmetic dermatologist.

I had to reschedule this appointment. I made it for 7:30 and I wasnt called back until 7:50. When I brought this up to the ladies in the front, they told me my appointment was at 7:40 (I got a confirmation text for 7:30 so they were wrong). They seemed very annoyed with me. I finally went back but had to wait another 5 minutes before I had to leave for work. While I was walking up to the front to reschedule, one lady said "she needs to reschedule because 7:40 isnt working for her". Which I thought was EXTREMELY rude because THEY messed up... not me.... so to call me out like that to make me feel stupid was unacceptable. Then another girl told me that there was no notes saying they couldnt move me/double book me so they moved my appointment. Why are you all moving my appointment time without telling me? I feel like every time I go, you all take me WAY later then my appointments and now I know why. I still have services with you all until September but after that, I do not think I will continue going to you all. I left very embarrassed.

after i told the dr i sometimes use a tanning bed (only told her so she’s aware obviously) she continued and continued to speak about a friend of hers that died from a tanning bed and went on and on. was not happy. also, another girl was in the room with the dr and never introduced herself, which made me uncomfortable as i was naked getting a full body exam.

The office procedure is very organized. The employees are efficient and seem to know their "stuff". I always come away thinking that the people are doing their job, but I wonder if they actually "care" about people. They talk fast and there is little or no eye contact. This observation applies to the front "office people" too. I find this to be true over all and not just for my last visit.

I actually just had a friend ask about dermatologist treatment. And I had to kind of get them mixed review. I have always felt the doctor Maroge is capable of being personal, competent, and thorough in a very short visit. I have not felt that way about anybody else at the clinic and don’t prefer to see them. (I have had one video visit with Rayna and it was fine but it was just one short issue.). I came in this week for my yearly exam and wasn’t as happy. It felt more rushed, I didn’t feel as personally cared for, and I had many questions afterward. My husband and I had even discussed that I would switch to another practice. But, I called the office and left a message and had a return call today that was very comprehensive, caring and thorough. So that kind of helps salvage some things. I will be curious how my bill is, because she had to freeze something. My husband’s dermatologist never codes in a way that results in more than the specialist visit co-pay but I frequently end up with additional co-pays at Marage dermatology if any treatment is done at the visit.

When we arrive at the place, the front desk rep. Was very rude. We were early for our appointment , about 10 mins early. The front desk rep. Asked if we did the forms online. I told her, I can do that here since we're early. Then she stated " THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE, DO IT QUICK, RIGHT AWAY". We're here 10 mins early, I can fill out these form here since we're early. I asked her if she's Ok, are you having a bad day? Her response " WHY WOULD YOU ASK ME THAT " I said, you look upset. But, that's ok. I'll get these forms to you shortly. I'm not a child for her to treat me that way. I am a paying customer. If your employee is negative and rude, it looks bad to your company. Please remember, there are other competitors out there, to build a good company, your representative should be polite and respectful. Now days, people look at reviews, before they we commit on either buying an item or making appointment and I'm one of these people. I went online to look at reviews, and found good reviews, but my experience with your front desk representative, she was very unprofessional and rude. Other then that, the place is clean, the doctor was very polite and she explained all the details and what to expect from the medicine.

There was a really long wait and then the PA only saw me for like 3 minutes. I felt like she was rushed and there was a lot more I wanted to tell her/show her about my skin but she didn't ask. I told her my chin was really my biggest concern and she didn't even look at it. Also, the receptionist was a bit curt on the phone when I called and got there. They make it seem like you need to be there right on the dot or your appointment will HAVE to be rescheduled, but then I waited for 40 minutes just to be rushed in and out. Very frustrating.

I came to Maragh Dermatology because I had seen a different provider who, while medically capable, was condescending, rude and abrupt, and my medical problem persisted. With Sherry Maragh, I felt listened-to and validated. She took plenty of time to understand the history of the problem and gave sound advice. I will happily return to this practice for other dermatology needs.

I had a 2:10 appointment and was seen at 2:47. Two people who arrived after I did were called to be examined before I . I heard each tell the receptionist that their appts. were at 2:20 and 2:30, respectively. When I mentioned this to the receptionist, she merely said that I would be called next ( incidentally, I was the only patient left in the office at that point). I understand that there may have been valid reasons for this, but an explanation would have been appreciated. When I was finally seen, the therapist and her assistant could not have been more professional, pleasant, and considerate. They were, indeed, excellent.

Between myself and my son, we have seen 3 different doctors at Maragh Dermatology and we have always been pleased. They worked hard to find the best treatment for my son's acne and worked even harder to help us find the most affordable option when our insurance would not cover some of the prescription treatment creams. I recently had a spot on my face that I thought could have been cancer and I was seen in 2 days, which I appreciated. One of the doctors speaks VERY quickly, which makes my son very uncomfortable and sometimes confused, but she's very sweet and I appreciate getting in and out quickly.

I brought my daughter for a dermatology appointment last week. The office staff was friendly enough. The office area is well maintained and great lengths were taken for cleanliness and health. The main issue that I have was with the medical staff once we were taken back to the room. It appeared that they really did not want to be there. I am not sure if it is a nurse practitioner or doctor that saw us, but her name is Fredericka. Unfortunately, her demeanor was less than impressive. She listened quickly to our concerns, asked a few questions and then recommended a very aggressive form of treatment for our daughter's acne issues. When she explained the side effects, I had to let her know that I was not fond of that recommendation due to my daughter's previous anxiety issues that were already noted in the paperwork that I filled out. Also, when she asked if we had concerns at the beginning of the appointment, I mentioned to her that my daughter had marks that showed up under her neck. She did not address them during the appointment until I reminded her of it at the end. She dismissed it all as acne. She did not even touch the area or look closely at the issue. I told her that I felt that it was more, possibly something that is a clue that something else is going on internally. She still dismissed it. It's a good thing that we went to her primary care doctor for a follow-up appointment because the doctor did find that it was something more. I have heard great things about Dr. Maragh's office but this was not the case for us. My daughter will have a follow up appointment but am not sure that we will go back after that. It is unfortunate. I will be happy to speak with someone about this further. I hope that all feedback can be taken as constructive to improve operations for someone else. Not the usual experience. Normally, this is a fantastic place. When I had my annual skin check visit, it was more rushed than usual. I had a few questions that were skin related but was rushed through and informed that I was only supposed to get 10 minutes. Half the visit felt like a sales pitch to pay for services that insurance doesn't cover. I felt like the sales pitch was more important than me asking a couple of questions. The doc who is usually so upbeat seemed distracted and frustrated. I usually have a great experience there, but I'm very glad this wasn't my first visit or I wouldn't plan to return. Also, the person who seemed to be the front desk lead was flat out rude. The younger person scheduling appointments had a question. Instead of mentoring her, the lady was harsh and made her feel stupid in front of a paying customer. She then got snappy with me, as well, until I said, "What's wrong here today. Did everyone burn their oatmeal this morning? Such bad energy!" Then she got a LITTLE nicer. I felt so bad for the lady who was trying to learn something. All in all, not a good experience.

Loved our office visit but they never followed through with sending the prescription to the pharmacy. I even asked during office visit to make sure we were all set with prescription and were told we didn’t have to do anything and it would be mailed to us. Waited for pharmacy to call to confirm, but never did. When I called the pharmacy they never had an record and now we are waiting again for our Dr to review and send prescription to pharmacy.

My PA seemed very knowledgeable but she was in and out of my room is less than 3 minutes. I came in to get warts frozen off my foot, and she was so quick that once I got home I realized she had missed half the warts I came in to get removed. If she had talked to me, asked me anything I could have pointed them out to her. I am going to see her again next week, and hopefully slow her down this time so she gets all of them. I also didn’t like how there was no discussion of treatment options or explanation behind the treatment she chose. It was just “this is what we are doing (cryotherapy)” and then began immediately. She also never even introduced herself or asked me my name.

I did not like the treatment at this place because initially they did not inform me about the charges and after finishing the treatment, they asked me to pay 411$ and after paying the amount I asked for the receipt. Then another lady told that I was overcharged and reduced the bill to 371$, Which is not reasonable. And the treatment was in a hurry. The doctor did not to give any explanation before the treatment. And after finishing the treatment, I again requested that I want to speak with the doctor and then I had to get my doubts clarified, which sounded to me as not responsible.

More disappointing, she did not have the inclination to take (even a quick) look at broader back and chest for other possible issues - this would have hardly taken any time at all! The net is this -> a passing glance at a 1cm x 1cm area for a snap diagnosis falls well short of what anyone should expect from their visit. Waste of money - I will be seeking and consulting another Physician.

In a nutshell: 40-minute wait for my scheduled appointment Waiting room had someone's dropped hair accessory on the floor and multiple staff saw it and ignored it No apology for wait time Asked to put on gown but the room didn't have one Dr. Gotsiridze never introduced herself to me, just launched into routine Circled on my body without permission Seemed irritated when I asked questions Almost performed mole removal without consent - interjected as I saw her from my peripheral approaching with a Lidocaine syringe, still didn't explain full procedure (risks/benefits) Walked out of room at appointment end as I was lying face-down on a table No one at checkout desk, rude staff told me to go back around and wait Addressed by wrong name twice at check out ZERO documentation for me about the procedure that occurred, after-care, etc. Feedback survey sent to yet another variation of my actual name

She also could tell that I am dealing with a swollen left leg due to cardiovascular issues and advised me on what direction I should take with that issue-she is outstanding and the office people are great!

I don't think the therapist believe that i am in pain. She scheduled me for only 3 appointments (once a week) I don't believe that 3 visits (1 visit per week) will help me. I did not get a massage after the session either. (I did physical therapy years ago (different place ) and the experience was much better
