I moved here from Nothern Washington 22 years ago. It took several doctors until I went to Panhandle Health and met Dr.Chase. Her professional approach and care is what I needed along with the entire helpful staff. I have never had any attention here in the Coeur d'Alene vicinity!

If I could give them a zero I would. I was seen yesterday and the two doctors were so rude. They made me feel crazy for asking questions about a disease that I know absolutely nothing about. Syphilis. I felt rushed. I felt like I was in the wrong for asking questions. They practically called me a hypochondriac and made fun of me because of how many questions i asked and they treated me like i was stupid. They are the type of stuck up judgemental people that think their shit doesn't stink. You could tell they looked down on me, etc. Worst experience with a doctor I've ever dealt with. I was humiliated. I can say the nurse was super sweet though. She was caring and understanding and you could tell that she has a heart. She was very genuine. Sam was cool too. But those two doctors man I just couldn't believe it. One of them was Dr Chase and I forget the other lady's name. I'll never be going back there that's for sure.

The receptionist, Alana, was extremely helpful with getting me a same day appointment for a vaccine because of a previous cancellation. On top of that she made sure to ask me necessary questions regarding the vaccine and was friendly in the process. She even called me back before my appointment to talk about payment options since I am uninsured. Hands down the best customer service I have experienced in a healthcare setting. Thank you!

The drive-thru format for flu vaccinations was so well organized and so smoothly accomplished that the whole process took less time than it takes to find parking, go into a building and check in at any lab in town. My husband and I were able to both be vaccinated without leaving our vehicle. Great planning and efficient implementation.

I have been coming here for 3 years. I am always greeted with a smile and have never had to wait long to get in. Kaitlin Arnold is my primary care nurse physician and I have waited many years to have a physician like her. She is very thorough and always discusses everything in depth with me. It is very rare these days to have that feeling like you are their only patient and the sense that your health is really important to you both. I consider myself very lucky. I arrived 30 minutes prior to my appointment only to find out I could not be seen due to my provider not being able to bill my insurance. Now mind you I made this appointment over a month ago, and the staff had plenty of notice that my insurance was not accepted with my Dr visit. I think I should have been seen and they could have written off the amount due. I did my part by being proactive and taking time off, I think the office receptionist did not do her job. I was not happy, don't feel like I was important.

Took an appointment to get malaria meds for an upcoming trip and ended up having a very thorough health check. Kaitlin wasn’t rushing me through, but went over lots of considerations for travel to Africa. I appreciated her time and educating me. I got two boosters of vaccines I needed. Very productive visit. It was a local and free blood pressure check offered by PHD and the office of my provider. I responded to an email, replied, and was scheduled at a time that was convenient. The two receptionist were wonderfully helpful and prompt in notifying the nurse team of my arrival and the process from there went quickly and the nurses were thorough and an encouragement as usual. I was glad for the email and text from PHD.

Overall, the staff were very professional. There was a slight mix-up when I scheduled the first appointment because I thought I could get the COVID booster vaccine on the Monday and luckily I called the office to confirm my appointment and then told that I would need to go on Thursday. There is nothing on the website to guide you on appointment dates.

I like being able to schedule an appointment and ask questions via texting. It took a little getting used to but it is the way to go. While at the appointment the nurse answered all my questions and gave me options I had not considered. Always a short wait to be seen.

Was very pleased to get both a Covid-19’s booster and flue vaccination for both my wife and I on the same appointment. What was very disturbing was having completed the required forms and having been directed to a private room and had an introductory conversation with the individual that administered the vaccinations. When She returned and administered the shot, only after receiving my covid shot did I become aware that I had received a Pfizer booster instead of a Maderna. I immediately brought this to the attention of the nurse and following a surprise reaction she left to confer with a supervisor she acknowledged that no problems moving forward and that both vaccinations are compatible with each other. This should never happen in a medical setting!

Since 2011 I have been searching the Coeur d' Alene, Post Falls area for a primary care physician who would listen to me, hear me, consider that I know my body and collaboratively address my concerns. I was pleasantly SURPRISED to find just that at Panhandle Health Department! They took my concerns seriously, provided a referral to a specialist and caught not just one, but two different spots of skin cancer! I love Panhandle Health Department and would recommend them to anyone looking for CARE in Health Care!

Super frustrating trying to get ahold of your office and no return calls. My provider never followed up with me and they fell through on getting a referral out for an exam from almost a month before. The specialty is already 5 + weeks out. I went to my follow up appointment because I was tired of calling and found out the information above.

My husband and I brought in our 3 month old for her first set of shots. From the phone call to make her appointment to the nurse who administered the shots to checking out at the end we were treated so kindly and respectfully. The nurse explained everything and I felt completely comfortable with my daughters care, with it being shots and a first baby I think that’s saying something!!! I trust my primary medical care with Cindy Barnes. She is very knowlegable, experienced, and caring. She knows when to treat and when to refer. I thought the nurse was very disrespectful during my appointment. She accused me of giving my incorrect birthdate, when she was actually looking at the current date, not my birthdate. She was rude, disrespectful, and just not nice during the appointment. This was for a booster for my covid vaccination. She would not sign my vaccine card either, and said I should talk to the front desk. When going back to the front, no one was there.

I was told I needed a pap smear yet I've had two. They said no record of it. I did not want one and I didn't come for one. I went along at first then anxiety took over. I do apologize.
