I was very pleased with every aspect of my eye appointment at Sheldon Vision Care. The staff in the reception area promptly greeted me upon entering and were very pleasant and informative. The young woman that performed the general eye tests was very accurate and nice to visit with. Dr. Michels impressed me with his attention to detail pertaining to how I was seeing, any problems/concerns with my current vision, etc..... Once he concluded the examination, he explained his findings in a way that I could easily understand. He is a very thorough and knowledgeable optometrist. And to top it all off, he has a great personality!

It was my first time at the office and my visit was so pleasant! The staff were really attentive and friendly and they even cleaned my glasses for me, which I've never had offered at an eye appointment before. It was very thoughtful!

The doctor was fantastic - everything with her was great however I stated to the assistant that I wanted my glasses tightened - evidently she tightened them but did NOT have me try them on because when I got home they were way too tight - so I had to readjust what she supposedly did - How can you adjust glasses and not even check them on the patient?????

I arrived a few minutes early, was taken right back to the exam area, met with Dr. Michels, had my eyes checked and I was home within the hour. Wonderful as the weather was not the best!

One thing I do like about coming to Vision Care is that I do not have to sit waiting to be seen. I have things to do too and do not like to sit waiting for the eye doctor. I find all the associates are very good and courteous and my eye doctor is excellent.

I'm getting older and a b it nervous about eye exams. The girls at the desk were friendly before handing me off to Stephanie. Steph was proficient and quite pleasant. I enjoyed my time with her and the exams she performed. I can't say enough about Dr. Michels, his staff and facility. God's greatest Earthly gift to me is in good hands with these folks.

The two that helped me were very nice and did I nice job but I know last year they took my glasses and made sure everything was tight and cleaned them and this year that did not happen and also had to ask for another bottle of glass cleaner where last year they made sure I had some.

At my appt he dilated my eyes as part of the exam, knowing I had previously had a reaction to the drops . This time I had another adverse reaction (a bad headache) only this time it was worse and lasted longer! 24 hours later I'm still having issues with pain, redness and burning.

The staff was nice and very knowledgeable. As a veteran I was glad to be able to be seen in my community vs going 78 miles to the SF VA. Then I found out I’d still have to go to the VA to get frames and lens’. Your eye care facility can get a kit to accommodate veterans. The person I spoke with at the VA was willing to help with this process but I was shot down when I conveyed the info to your facility. Why not just go to the VA?
