Th e staff is very friendly, polite, and efficient. The Dr.s examination was thorough although brief. his description of my current condition and possible future concerns was made very clear. Only time will tell if the new glasses will fit me better than my current ones.

I really like the doctor I saw today. Can't pronounce his last name. He told me to call him John. He was very relatable and personable. He listened and explained my issues so that it was easy for me to understand what he was doing and why. I have not had to make an emergency appointment so I did not provide an answer for that question.

After telling Dr Anderson that I was having a very hard time seeing she told me that my prescription had not changed since last year. End of appointment. The nice woman who was checking my frames, after my appointment, to be sure they were straight pointed out to me that my prescription had indeed changed quite a lot since I got my current glasses in 2017. I find it almost unbelievable that a doctor would not compare my current lenses with my current exam results. I was told that they only compare to last year’s exam. Absolutely unbelievable.

Always great service and impeccable healthcare. Dr. Hennahan is an expert provider and his staff is always so helpful and knowledgeable. I drive an hour just for this eyecare and I don't mind it one bit. There are eyecare doctors closer, but none as good as Spectrum Eyecare!

I have been with Spectrum Eye for several years. I am in between work and social security this year, so I did have my eye apt, but have decided to fill my glasses perscription elsewhere. In the past several years, both my husband and I have been disappointed in the eyeglasses. Having to send them back 2 and 3 times to get the order filled properly. The time and expense has made me look elsewhere for glasses.

Everyone is nice at Spectrum. Dr. Henahan is great - and a straight shooter which I like. The ladies at the front desk are friendly and efficient. Spectrum has been my “go to” eye specialists for several years primarily due to their excellent doctors, professional techs, and a personable and efficient office staff. Recently, experiencing sudden an unexplainable pain in one eye it only took a call and Spectrum worked me in immediately (fifteen minutes), resolving the issue and giving me piece of mind. I am so thankful for Spectrum and their excellent staff.

My visit to Spectrum Eyecare was wonderful. The office is beautiful, now crowded, and I was seen in less than 10 minutes. I received a thorough exam by all of the healthcare professionals during my visit and the staff in the optical department were helpful and diligent during the process to select my contact lens and glasses. Some ongoing confusion with the front desk dropped you down a few notches from last year. Then, a bit of unnecessary strife when encouraged to cram the full rotation of cataract surgery into what (I knew) was an undoable frame of time. I was told that the two months I had before International travel "was plenty of time" to have everything completed and fully healed. The first "pre-op" appt. offered to me was April 15. The clinic then told me surgerys were scheduled about a month later.. so May 15. This only provided 2 weeks for "recovery", full healing, and a post- op appointment. I was uncomfortable with this race of this pace. I am leaving for a very expensive holiday throughout Europe on June 1 and think it a bit too aggressive to assume that everything will be perfect. I don't want to have to find an ophthalmologist while in a brief port stay in Bergen, Portugal or Spain. I'll drive back over this coming week and order glasses.. which was my understanding of the most logical way forward when I presented last Wednesday.

I had an issue with my right eye on a Saturday. Afraid that it might be something serious, I was very pleasantly surprised to find that Spectrum Eyecare was open (only a couple of Saturdays per month). The desk receptionist was super nice when we called to ask about an appointment and asked questions to know whether it was was an emergency or not. I got right in and Dr. Henehan did a thorough check and took images and let me know that everything was fine. My Husband and I have been going to Spectrum Eyecare for a number of years now and we love it. We have never had any issues and love Dr Henehan. He is very knowledgeable and is always patient when answering our questions we have.

The appointment with Dr Anderson was great the issue happened after I left the office. Within 10 minutes of leaving the optical staff member called to tell me that my glasses broke. These are the same glasses that I wore throughout the entire appointment and was planning on just replacing the lenses. They took zero accountability for the glasses breaking and said I must have known they were broken before I left them. Which there was nothing wrong with them until after I left them in their care. They offered nothing in any type of warranty (were purchased there last year) and any type of discount in replacing the frame. The office manager was of zero help as well. My family will not be returning to this practice due to the staff.

The staff who makes appointments and greets you are always so professional and also kind. Dr. Anderson was kind enough to squeeze me in her busy day. I thought I had a scratched eye, but it turns out I had the beginning of pink eye. Dr. Henanhan is my regular doctor, but Dr. Anderson treated me with the same professional care.

Dr. H is the best. I got something in my eye and my regular eye Dr. couldn't get me in for 3 days. My wife uses Spectrum, I called them and they said come in right now. I couldn't open my eyes, my son drove me to Spectrum and they treated me like I was their only customer. I'm a customer for life and would highly recommend them. Big difference between the big eye care practices and Spectrum.

I love this office for a number of reasons. I've been 3 times in the past year, 2 for annuals and 1 for eye irritation. The staff is always able to get me an appointment quickly and I hardly have any wait time when I arrive. Dr. Henahan is great, has great bedside manner and is honest in his responses. The staff is kind and great communicators. They are quick to call with updates and very knowledgable about insurance billing, glasses, and contacts. The facility is beautiful and close to home. I have terrible vision and have been going to the eye doctor for 20+ years, so I have experienced numerous offices and this is by far one of my favorites!

The medical care I received was exceptional and the staff are all genuine, kind and extremely helpful. The ONLY negative was the extremely long wait time. I waited 1 1/2 hrs before I was able to see the doctor. I asked the staff if this was a common wait time and they said it was not. Must have just been a busy day. Even with the long wait time, I would absolutely go again. In fact, I've already scheduled an appointment for one of my family members.

Office staff and techs and doctors have all been very nice and great for normal glasses-vision issues I have. But I would not recommend buying glasses at Spectrum. They have very limited frame options, higher prices and long delivery wait times. I wanted to replace lenses in my Spectrum frames after 1 year but Spectrum could not order lenses without mailing my glasses off 2 weeks to be measured.

I’ve been putting off my exam because of my busy life schedule. The staff got me in WAY sooner than I expected and for that I am so grateful. The cleanliness of the store and COVID precautions they took are amazing and I felt safe and secure throughout my whole appointment. Dr. Henahan was very patient with me and conducted a very thorough exam on me. He notified me about my eye health and other important factors. I was having a slight pain in my right eye that came and went as I did computer work or read small print for long periods of time. Before my appointment, I just thought it was normal eye strain. Turns out, my prescription changed (which is normal) and I’ve been wearing glasses that needed to be updated! Dr. Henahan gave me an updated prescription and I’ve been seeing extremely well! I almost couldn’t believe it. I’m soooo forever grateful for this doctor and this office. I’m coming every year! I can’t wait for my next exam, seriously. The technician, Abdul, was also amazing! He explained every procedure clearly and made sure I was ready to proceed to the next. He is soo sweet and charming! If you’re on the fence about going here, please do not hesitate. My yearly exam was during the Covid-19 pandemic. All precautions were adhered to for social distancing. Sanitation routine was the normal as for all my visits because this office practices diligent maintenance between patients all the time. I saw a different provider (I was unaware of the partner and was not told this in advance) but was more than pleasantly satisfied with the care I received. My only negative was that there seemed to be less of a selection of frames in the 'normal' area (all about the same style and color) but my technician offered to look through the discontinued frames and found something satisfactory. Will wait now to see how long for delivery of new glasses and how fitting process will be handled during the virus.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Dr. O'Clair was very professional and insightful on eye health. The wait time was a bit longer than I would have preferred but not unreasonable. I was disappointed to come down with Pink Eye 2 days after my visit during the COVID19 outbreak when I didn't go anywhere else, have been extra careful about handwashing and sanitation, didn't touch any unnecessary surfaces in the Spectrum office, and have no else in my household that has had it. Hopefully Spectrum was not the source but nonetheless it is a bit concerning that there could be shortcomings with the disinfecting procedures.

The new glasses arrived exactly when they said they would and the pick-up/fitting process was very good. We would highly recommend Spectrum for your optical needs.

I felt rushed. I didn't understand my prescription, but when I returned and asked for a copy of my prescription it was then explained to me that I have two prescriptions. I didn't like the process of picking out a pair of glasses because there was I understanding my prescription and there is no privacy. Please understand that I have never owned a pair of glasses so when you are talking progressive, blended....I do not know what these terms mean. I felt like everyone (staff and customers) were listening to my conversation. On top of this I had my eyes dilated for the first time ever. I was finding it difficult to have clear vision. It was not a pleasant experience. I am interested in buying a pair of glasses and readers depending on my insurance, but I am not sure if I can even go back without paying for another appt. again...I felt rushed and on "display".

Was still able to see DR Henahan for today's appointment so all worked out well.

I love going to Spectrum! I can always count on a short waiting time, quick and thorough appointment. My only complaint is that the doctors (both Henahan and O'Clair) do talk very quickly (isn't necessarily bad because it shows excitement), but sometimes I can't get a word in when I need clarification and can sometimes feel rushed or hyped. Other than that, staff is very knowledgeable and friendly!

We (my husband and I) felt welcomed from the moment we arrived for our appointments. Actually, I felt welcomed when I called to inquire about scheduling our appointments as new patients... a very pleasant experience. This was our fist visit to Spectrum Eyecare (my husband and I always book our med/eye/dental appointments together) and we couldn't be more pleased with the overall experience. Everyone that we encountered at Spectrum made us feel welcomed and valued as guests of the practice. The Eye Care Exam: This was the MOST COMPREHENSIVE eye care exam that either of us has ever experienced. Bethany (technician extraordinaire), took the time to explain the tests that were being performed on their state of the art optometric diagnostic equipment. They note their equipment as being 'state of the art' on the website and it is indeed 'state of the art'. Bethany was professional as well as kind and gentle. Dr. O'Clair is the best! My husband and I both exclaimed to one another that this was the first time that we did not feel rushed through our eye exams and actually learned a lot about our eyes and their care. Dr. O'Clair went into such detail regarding the health of our eyes... it was definitely a 'WOW' experience and we let her know that she had provided us both with the MOST COMPREHENSIVE eye exam that either one of us has ever experienced. The more in depth that Dr. O'Clair explained 'eye health', the more questions we had... the more questions we had, the more information she provided. Dr. O'Clair was attentive, kind, enthusiastic and knowledgeable... she was wonderful!

I have been examined by both doctors, both are very good. The only reason for the lack of stars in my ratting is the staff. The staff is mixed, some posses excellent people skills and educated technical advice, others unfortunately the polar opposite would be true. Although I will not let it affect my patronage, I think it would behove the polar opposite side with the snarky condescending attitudes to have a new years resolution.

The front area has a very nice design and is very clean. The staff was professional and yet personable. Sarah, and then Dr Henahan, were both welcoming and patient with me as a new client with a lot of questions. Both did a great job explaining the various eye tests and what I needed to do and how to do my part in the testing. Dr. Henahan explained my results, answered all of my questions, and gave me various options which he explained to me. I am very pleased with this practice from my initial experience.

My rating is considerably lower from last year because I was not contacted that my appointment time had been changed until I called to confirm my appointment - 1 day before my appointment. The receptionist just said that it had been changed without any explanation or apology. The appointment was set approximately 4 months in advance. I was so angry with her nonchalant attitude that I called back to ask why this had occurred. I never received an explanation. The patient's time is valuable just as the doctor's time is and I was not given any courtesy or consideration in the form of a phone call or email to inform me that my appointment time had been changed. In addition, Dr. Henahan seemed very pushy when it came to the sale of contact lenses. I explained to him last year that I wanted to reduce my contact lense wearing experience after 30 + years and switch to wearing eyeglasses. Even last year he tried to hard sell me into buying a year's supply worth of contct lenses. I purchased less than a year's supply and I am glad that I did. I wear the glasses everyday and the contact lenses infrequently. During the most recent visit, he tried to hard sell me into buying a year's worth of contact lenses. He gave me a coupon for my next purchase which was ok, but it is I and not he who will decide how many boxes of lenses to purchase. The experience felt pressured and rushed and it seemed like he was irritated. You can have a clean office, tv commercials, smile, be polite and shake your patient's hands all you want but if you are not geniune, patients will sense that all of the time. I would like to suggest that Dr. Henahan leave the decision on how many contact lense boxes to purchase to the patient's discretion if they have not specifically asked him. Thank you.

I don't know where to begin! I have never had a better experience visiting ANY physician than I've had with Spectrum Eyecare, Dr. Henahan and his staff. I've been here 4-5 times now and I've never waited more than a couple minutes (if that). If I arrived early to an appointment, I was taken back early. Dr. Henahan has always been extremely thorough and patient in answering any questions I had. I originally went in for a routine eye exam, ended up trying contacts and finally opting for Lasik (best decision I've ever made). Dr. Henahan helped me through this entire process and helped set up my Lasik appointment. He made me feel very comfortable with the whole process. Additionally, the staff at Spectrum Eyecare are incredibly friendly and they all seem so happy (usually a clear indicator that they're treated well and taken care of)! I jokingly remarked to Dr. Henahan that he must only schedule two patients a day, given the amount of time he was spending answering all my questions and talking me through my pre-Lasik nerves. (We've all been to the doctor that you're uncomfortable asking questions to because he/she leaves you with the impression that you're keeping him/her from 80,000 more important things). He stated that at Spectrum they are more concerned with building relationships than seeing a patient every five minutes. Quality over quantity. From the patient's end, it's much appreciated and very rare to find such dedicated individuals and a doctor who genuinely cares about his patients. I will recommend Spectrum to every friend, family member and coworker I know. To Dr. Henahan and all the staff at Spectrum, you guys are amazing. Thanks for everything!

Dr. Henahan is as friendly and approachable as he is knowledgable. He goes as far as it takes, and more, to be sure his patients needs are met. I had a particularly scary issue in his office which resulted in an ambulance ride to the ER. He followed up with me the next day, helped me get appointments with specialists, and continued to check on me for weeks. His help and concern was more than anyone would have ever expected. He's a gem and we're so fortunate to have him in our community!

I wanted to make you aware of one problem. Due to the new location, I missed your driveway and turned into the second entrance, parking at an unmarked slot in the adjacent pediatrics office. When I completed my appointment (which was great) my car had been blocked in by a Yukon, who turned out to be one of the pediatric employees. I had to go in and explain the situation and they complained that your patients are taking up their spaces and that "there are signs indicating that these spaces are for our business only, and violators will be towed". I apologized and mentioned I didn't see any signs calling this out (there were plenty of places available). The employee then moved her vehicle and allowed me to leave. This has no bearing on the performance of your office (which was exceptional), but I did want to make you aware of the less than neighborly business next door. Thanks, Steve

Dr. Henahan usually spends a good length of time checking my eye health. However, my recent visit felt somewhat rushed. I attributed the quick check to the dilation drops because that may have made his job much easier? I believe if he had said as much, I wouldn't have felt rushed.

I've been a patient for many years and would not want to go anywhere else. The new office is beautiful. I feel that I get the best and most thorough exam and not sure how Dr. Henahan does it but he always makes me feel that I am his "favorite" patient and I see him interact with other patients with the same attitude, as if they are his best and favorite patient.
