The whole visit was good from beginning to end. I did not have to wait at all. Dr. Atkar was kind and knowledgeable and even asked PERMISSION to use drops to dialate my eyes! What I appreciated most though, was the lack of pressure to upgrade to better and more expensive lenses and frames.The lady helping me just laid out the options and let me decide. The only thing I didn't like was the strong smell of perfume in the examining room; while pleasant enough, it was enough to cause me some anxiety.

when i walked in they were very welcoming and friendly, very helpful and they explained everything to me so that i understood. and if i didnt understand and asked questions they answered them with no hesitation.. it had been a very long time since i had gone to the eye dr and they made me feel so comfortable.they listened to me. the waiting time was very very short. but they spent their time explaining everything to me. when you first walk in its nice and bright and you feel a awsome vibe. and it is so nice and clean in there. everything about my visit was awsome.. i am going to recommend them 100%. to everyone that i know. and my one daughter recommended them and i am SO glad that she did.

The office staff, assistant and doctor were kind, professional and made sure I felt comfortable and my questions were answered during my appointment. Being a private pay patient with no insurance, I was deeply disappointed that this clinic refused to give me my PD number, as part of MY medical records. I was honest about needing to order a cheaper pair of glasses online and therefore needed the number. I received some excuse about that being a liability and therefore it couldn't be released. Its a money-making scam, plain and simple. My entire family will now go elsewhere for future eyecare needs.

I have new insurance which is not accepted at the office I had been going to but they recommended this office and I’m so glad they did! The staff was helpful and professional. Dr. Carlson explained everything I had questions about and gave me several options for treatment. I didn’t find any frames that I liked so they accepted my old frames and are having new lenses put in them.......saving me a bunch of money! Fairly easy to get in, on Apple Health Insurance was approved. Was an easy visit, for my first time getting checked by an eye doctor to understand where my vision is at. Borderline time to get glasses but do not need them other than to crisp up tiny details otherwise my sight is still decent. Very good care, very good explaining the whole process, and a diagnosis for if I feel like getting glasses at any point to crisp up reading and finer details.

I was so sad when Dr. Gimness retired, but I am pleased to report that new eye-care team retains the same courteous, professional, friendly staff. Dr. Carlson took the time to answer all of my questions and I felt respected and valued as a patient -- so thrilled to have such quality care in our little town.
